G.I.L.T.E Phyls specialty bakery has been proudly run & single handedly owned by none other than Phyllisa Phillips, AKA Phyl.

Phyl began baking professionally thirty years ago. Working for manufacturers that supplied wholesale ingredients to the in-store bakeries within the grocery store, Phyls saw first hand what was lost due to mass production baking. Wanting to bring back the individuality of the old time corner bakery, she took a chance and started to recreate what was lost.

I soon realized there was a class of shoppers who wanted something better, people looking for truly fresh baked treats! Believing that people were out there looking for a local provider to suit their individual needs, I took the leap and started Gilte Phyl’s Bakery.

The rest is history in the making! Being known for creating popular & uniquely themed cakes, Phyl also has a stellar reputation for her delectable cupcakes, brownies, pastries, and her original creation – SnackKrack.

G.I.L.T.E. Phyl’s is a fully licensed commercial bakery, located in Westfield, MA. Our goal is to deliver fresh baked treats throughout Western MA and Northern CT, bringing joy to people’s doorsteps! Like we say – our store is at your door!
